Fan Favorite ‘Arizona Sunshine’ Launches for PS4 VR

Arizona Sunshine Setting

One of the most popular virtual reality games on the market is now available for PlayStation 4. Arizona Sunshine was one of the original first-person shooter games that was exclusively designed for VR. While HTC and Oculus picked it up immediately, PlayStation eased its way into the VR industry.

Arizona Sunshine takes you into the scorching southwestern desert in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, where you will need to fight for survival. Following its release in December 2016, it quickly became one of the top-selling VR games on Steam, a popular online gaming distribution platform.

Sunshine’s Innovative VR Experience

Powered by Intel® Core™ i7, Arizona Sunshine provides one of the most realistic VR experiences in the industry. PS4 offers real-life weapon handling via their VR motion controllers that allow you to handle, fire, and reload over 25 different weapons. PlayStation also offers VR aim controllers that handle like a real gun and allow players to aim their weapons, as well as anticipate attacks.

There are a variety of different modes that this game can be played in. Of course, you can enjoy a single-player campaign; otherwise, players can join forces with a friend on a co-op multiplayer mission or play with a group in 4-player horde mode.

The PS4 version of Arizona Sunshine was officially launched on June 27, 2017, and PlayStation is offering an incentive to those who purchase it early. The deal is for pre-orders and any purchases that occur during the game’s first week of availability. It includes the game, an exclusive PS4-themed edition, and a 10 percent discount.

It is safe to say that PlayStation is among the most elite video game companies in the world, and at the rate that VR continues to grow, we can expect more cutting-edge advancements from them in the near future.
